Wände werden mit Postern und Stickern beklebt. Ein Tuch hängt in diskreten Abstand zur Tür und verdeckt das Schlüsselloch. Ein Zettel klemmt hinter einer klebrigen Holzleiste. Eine kleine Auswahl geliebter Gegenstände wird im Zimmer angeordnet. Auch nach jahrelanger Abwesenheit verbleibt alles genau an seinem Platz.

Die Ausstellung widmet sich der ambivalenten Faszination an Nostalgie und der Vermarktung von Jugenderinnerungen. Das Interesse am Zurückblicken in die Zeit der Adoleszenz und Hinterfragen von Erinnerungsfragmenten verbindet die vorgestellten Werke. Ausgehend von der Frage, inwieweit unser Begehren und Kulturverständnis von den Phantasmen des Kapitalismus geprägt ist, entstehen Explorationen über die Tristesse des Familienhauses und zeitgenössische Jugendtrends.
